PBM helps neuroneogenesis in craniocerebral trauma

Traumatic injuries of the brain react to transcranial, low-energy laser irradiation with infrared light.

A new, forward-looking LLLT research focus is the success of transcranial LLLT in the treatment of craniocerebral trauma. In this video, the photomedical researcher Prof. Michael Hamblin gives an introduction to the state of research and to the photochemical processes induced by LLLT, which are involved in the promising therapy results.
Michael Hamblin, PHD, is the head of research at the Wellmann Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. His main interest is the therapeutic potential of photomedicine for a wide variety of diseases. One of his main areas of research is the application of LLLT in craniocerebral trauma.

Ein neuer, zukunftsweisender LLLT-Forschungsfokus sind Erfolge der transkranialen LLLT bei der Behandlung von Schädel-Hirn-Traumata. Der Photomedizin-Forscher Prof. Michael Hamblin gibt in diesem Video eine Einführung in den Stand der Forschung und zu den durch die LLLT induzierten photochemischen Prozesse, die an den vielversprechenden Therapieergebnissen beteiligt sin.
Michael Hamblin, PHD, ist Forschungsleiter am Wellmann Center for Photomedicine am Massachusetts General Hospital und Professor für Dermatologie an der Harvard Medical School. Sein Hauptinteresse gilt dem therapeutischen Potential der Photomedizin bei den unterschiedlichsten Krankheiten. Einer seiner Forschungsschwerpunkte ist die Anwendung der LLLT bei Schädel-Hirn-Traumata.
